大家好，我會在這個禮拜天到達柏明罕機場，應該會坐火車到coventry，
請問從coventry火車站坐12號公車到學校，公車大約會停在哪裡? 到了學校之後要先去拿房間鑰匙。
再從學校搭車到Leamington Spa的off-campus宿舍，要搭什麼車，要在哪搭? 回程一樣搭同一班車嗎?
費用大約多少，有沒有類似月票之類的可以票可以購買的呢?

1. For the transportation on Sunday.
If you want to get on no. 12 (Travel Coventry)
Yes, you can take no. 12 from Coventry rail station to Warwick Uni. first.
The bus stop will be in front of the Library on the Library Road, then you have to walk to the Rootes, where you have to collect your key.
(Please study the map of Warwick Uni )
Please buy a 'Day Saver' from the bus driver directly, and it costs 2.9 pounds.
Please prepare the precisely amount, because no. 12 doesn't change.

Then take no. 12 from Warwick Uni. to Leamington after you get your key for your off-campus accommodation at Leamington Spa. It'll be the same place where you get off the bus from the Coventry rail station. When you get on the bus, just show the 'Day Saver' to the bus driver directly, and you don't have to pay anymore.

2. About the bus pass:
Yes, you can by a bus pass, and I will strongly suggest you to buy it :)
There are two choices
(1) Travel Coventry: you can take no.12 to transport from Leamington via Kenilworth to Warwick Uni.

(2) Stagecoach: I bought this company's bus pass, although the price is higher than Travel Coventry. It takes motoway to the Uni directly.

然後拿了房子key之後再考慮
1.在Loots門口繼續搭小黃直接到新家
2.拖著行李在Loots外面的公車站等公車

The most problem I encountered is the bank account.
I know there are three banks in the university.
which one is better or easier to open an account ?
Also, my friend tell me that if I want to open a bank account,
I should bring the student ID or relatve document.
But, I am a visiting student in warwick. I didn't registered in warwick.
I only got the admission letter from my supervisor in warwick.
Is that OK?

I forgot to ask where I can buy a bus pass.

bus pass有學期票卡,
只要是coventry公車都可以坐,在coventry公車總站有賣
Stagecoach則無法使用,該公司的pass我不知道去哪買

手機號碼(SIM)可以去coventry或是你當地的城市都可以找到商店買
甚至TESCO也有賣
建議直接購買3的skype手機
這樣除了有cell phone的SIM晶片
還可以 skype<---->skype 不要錢

想像一下, 走在路上, 家裡敲skype找你
你還可以邊逛街邊聊
朋友也有skype手機的話, 彼此互相講skype也不花錢

這裡很多台灣學生都有辦
喔, skype手機可能沒有中文介面

我對2, 3比較知道，所以回答這兩題

2.可以自己帶手機過來
這邊的pay as you go sim卡都是免費的，
所以你只要去店裡說你要pay as you go卡就可以拉
不過光拿免費的sim卡沒有意義，
要加值(top up)以後才能使用
所以一般人去店裡拿sim卡，都會順便top up

3. Orange的magic number如果是綁約型的，隨時隨地都可以使用
如果是pay as you go的sim卡，一個月至少要top up 10磅才會有magic number的優惠
我本身是使用pay as you go的sim卡，每個月top up 10磅
因為我除了打給我的magic number之外，大多是拿來接聽電話，
很少用手機打給其他用戶。
magic number最多設三組，那三組都必須要是orange的號碼

1. Student Union應該買不到喔~
腳踏車看個人需要，
不過我搬到Leamington Spa之後就把腳踏車賣掉了

2. 看你喜歡英國哪方面的景觀，我比較喜歡stagecoach的公車路線，
買stagecoach的bus pass也可以坐stagecoach系列的公車到Warwick Castle
去Coventry可以坐X17

Travel Coventry的公車系列我就不太清楚了
因為我不太喜歡Coventry City centre的感覺，
所以很少去那裏

3. pay as you go卡只要直接放在手機裡就可以用了
pay as you go卡都是免費的，
所以和店員拿了之後，記得要top up
一般都是加值10磅
不然是打不出去的

如果要打電話回台灣，
我不太了解要怎麼用電話卡，
因為我都是用skype

再請問一下
剛在網路上看到了，有包含Leamington跟學校的
應該是Leamington/Warwick這區對吧。
另外stagecoach單次乘車要給多少錢，
他們應該也是不找零的吧XD

會找零錢
像是: unibus, no. 16, X17

2. Travel coventry公司
不找零錢
像是no. 12, no. 801

您可以有兩種不同的選擇，
一個是直接打到客服說你要設定，
另外一個是在oragne網站上註冊，
註冊好你的網路帳戶裡面就有設定magic number的選項

如果您手邊有orange的說明書(去拿pay as you go的sim卡時會給你)
裡面的說明很詳細

因為我只是orange magic number的超級愛用者，
所以不太確定我的回答是否正確
不過就我的認知是
Pay as you go每個月top up 10磅後可享magic number的優惠
時間是從你top up後開始算一個月，
所以並沒有固定的日期，
完全看你top up 的時間

如果還有進一步問題，
請參考orange網頁或是說明書，
相信會獲得更詳細的資訊
